Nick and Radha Bradley bring to us two incredible workshops over one day retreat, a stunning practice of Akhanda Flow with a focus on Yogic philosophy and how we can deepen our practice by tying in some of the core concepts of the Yoga Sutras. Followed by an energetics and Yin masterclass, working into our energetic body and learning to free and feel your subtle energy body. We are incredibly blessed to have these beautiful teachers to share their wisdom with us and guide us through this incredible experience.
Saturday AM Session | Hip Opening Akhanda Flow Session: Theme – Root, Sacral and Naval Chakras
This class will include Asana, Pranayama, Visualisation, Relaxation and Meditation. Removing energy obstacles and flowing through stuck emotions.
Discussion: Water, movement, going with the flow. What does it mean, and when should we resist habitual patterns and consciously create new ones. Recent research in neuroplasticity confirms what Patanjali mentions in the Yoga Sutra (I:…) When a pattern is dysfunctional we can “cultivate the opposite” and literally re-create our reality, sculpt the flow of our lives. Focusing on specific Yamas (observances) - from Patanjali's 8 Fold Path for the intention of the practice to help us achieve this state of presence and "letting go" Followed by Mantra practices and Closing Mantra
Saturday PM Session | The Power of Yin and Energy Awareness : Theme - Heart, Throat and 3rd eye focus
In this workshop session, we will look at the subtle energy body and learn to feel and free energy . Opening the body with Yin yoga and the added elements of Nick Sadashiv's incredible experience in feeling energy, working with practitioners to release, becoming a truly Open space. This session is very powerful and the effects will stay with you. An intensely beautiful experience - not to be missed. Yin yoga is a more still practice where we hold poses with support and little effort for a longer period of time to encourage a natural release of the body enabling a deep meditation. This class will include stretching, pranayama, visualisations and energy meditations.
